As the title says, im chasing a Walky, with low kms, close to original as possible. MUST have log books.
Email me [email removed], PM or call [phone removed]. Would prefer WA, but will go interstate for the right car.
Cheers,
Craig

How low do you want the klms and what price are you willing to go too.
I think you've left your run a little late ILLUSIV as they've started to go up in price. Not many around in $30000 bracket and to think you couldn't get rid of em couple of years ago.I heard someone in WA is snapping em all up as soon as they go on sale over here(only a rumour) but mite explain the price hike. Just wish Redbook would adjust the market value up from $17000-$22000. Did you realise the owner of Walky in Toowoomba for sale also is selling his VN Group A.
I'll get one. I've been patient, and I'll find one. I have the money, so thats not an issue.
But I did leave my run a little late, but wasn't in a position to get one before. As the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait. I'll wait for the right car...
Well i hope you do get a good one Craig and you don't have to wait too long-i was lucky when mine came along for sale as i wasn't even looking to buy a Walky.I was quite happy with my VK interceptor but the Walky has that neck snapping attention.Just don't go messing with the engine unless you've got loads of money lol.
Well the first couple of things i changed was the suspension(so it would handle)bigger wheels and the exhaust. Not a big fan of tinted windows,to me it doesn't suit the colour of the Walky but thats my personal opinion.
Thanks Walkie,my Dads and mine are tint free but if the chrome tint like on the rally cars was allowed i'ld be straight down to local tint shop.I've seen couple of cars with blue and green tinted windows but that's drawing attention from the law,i've been booked twice for the blue lights in my avatar so i've learnt my lesson and have sinced removed all non-factory coloured lights
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Quite surprised to see that the current ones being advertised on Car Sales and Car Point are still available after several months. 45K aint a bad price, maybe they aren't reflective with the Kms being stated?
Maybe people still can't get over that 40K hurdle yet, which is it I suppose?
I think its due to it being so close to the $47k new price also. People don't wanna pay $45k for a 18 year old car I guess.
Comes down to supply and demand, and then now new it really is condition wise.
Maybe Craig you should try hanging around the divorce courts or real estate offices as most people i know who sold their Walkys were either buying a house or marriage break ups.
Thats prob the best ones to get if you are lucky enough to find em.I bought mine through a friend who had someone at his work selling his.Funny thing was he had it advertised in the Trading Post but was having trouble selling it so looking back i was very lucky.Heres a pic of it when i first got it-he tried to tell me it was one of 20 with a factory sunroof and one of 5 with factory white wheels?
Thats the question i get different answers to about the factory sunroof on walkys-i agree with comment about the white wheels. They only lasted a week till i purchased 17"clubsport wheels for her.I sold the white ones but kept the spare.
