its a long shot, but put your car in your back yard, turn your head unit off (and your amp if u need too), and leave the car going for a good 1/2 - 1h. it could be that your battery needs a good charge

turn ya car off and have a look at ya amp usally they have a light on them if its still on it means ya remote wire anit hooked up proberly, if not charge ya battery over night and if it goes flat that quick u may have something sucking ya battery (hook a multi-meter to check) or the cells in ya battery have had it and they can't hold charge for very long, i had a new battery for 5 months went dead flat charged it and kept going flat overnight, took it back the cells were stuffed and got a new one under warrenty

If its a big system, have you upgraded your alternator? It's all good to have a huge power sucking system but there needs to be a big alternator charging that battery back up!

Ive seen a few cheap amps do this, just put a isolator on it, contant rated soliniod will fix it hooked to the remote wire or ignition would be better

Sorry mate, my point exactly, BOSS amps ARE cheap, you may have paid lots but there very poorly made, you can put a constant rated solinion in the main power wire to shut it off when not in use

Check what your REM (blue wire) is hooked up to on the headunit...

"BOSS amps ARE cheap" dead right, theyre cheaply made, i have one, overheats @ summer and drains a lot of power, if u wanna keep ur amp get urself a second hand (~100amp) truck alternator and plug it in, youll hav no probs from then on if thats the problem. but i also had this problem b4 when the battery's full of charge, leave it for 2 days and its flat as, try driving with the music off, if the problem's still there buy urself a nu battery, cos that way my prob and its been all good since then, leave it a week, still starts like new 1st crank

well i got a new alternator(standard i think) today and it is as the old one was shot but i do not think it was that for the amop prob and i might try charging up the battery tommorow and see if that helps out i will leav it for 24 hours to charge that should do the trick should i hook up the amp right away or just leav it off for a week Quote: Originally Posted by CRZNVQ yer ive learnt from my experiences never to buy BOSS gear again , i got one of the 1200watt 4chl , stuffed up , got it fixed , 3 weeks later stuffed up again ... there cheap , ok for a little while then they just **** themselves
