hey guys just wondering what stage people are at with building their cars? i think steve, 72 of 150, stockas, disturbed and 1sick vl are all in the process of getting theirs on the road so if you can, tell us when you recon your car will be on the road. same goes for anyone else whos build is incomplete.

well,mines on the road theres also jasons, holdonv8's, calais which is being built. havent seen it yet, but its gonna be sick as, i hope Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey guys, mine should be back on the road hopefully later today or tomorrow, been building it for 5 months or so now cant wait to finally get it up and running looking to try run a low 11/high 10 eventually if everything goes well. Had a new forged engine built, new cooling system, got rid of pretty much every second hand fitting/hose through most of the car, got HATE-IT's turbo setup t4/external gate/screamer pipe etc from his BT1, Turbro's fuel setup (044, surge tank, 550cc injectors) + EMS, detroit locker, ultra lows + polished 19" VX GTS rims. Guy before me had already stripped it down bare and had it resprayed/bumpers smoothed and the standard series 2 interior retrimmed, custom boot install etc. Should get it back tomorrow with everything bolted together, just need to run it in, fit fuel system + EMS, get it tuned then into the panel store for a few little things (had someone reverse into my brand new rear bar while it was parked in my driveway with no engine in it right after I had it sprayed!). Still need to get a keas auto with a transbrake the current auto in it is strengthened/shift kitted but just gonna use that to run it in for now till i can get my hands on a keas box... So yeah, not too long to go now finally!

Gday Ppl, Sorry i dont know all of your names as I havent been out cruising with you guys since early '05 to meet you and put a face to ur usernames. Progress as follows Body: Outside has just been painted with 2K. Inside doors and door shuts also painted. Dents/dings taken out. All doors aligned, boot aligned, bonnet aligned. Yet to be painted: engine bay, stuff to be painted black (window surrounds and c-pillar moulds). All rust has been removed. Engine: All engine parts ready to be assembled except for Rods. Waiting on arrival. Block and crank fully prepped ready to go. Head waiting on new parts but not a big issue, going have to get sent to be p&p Most other bits I have already ie Turbo, Gate, Fuel pump, inejctors, clutch, inlet manifold. Misc bits like surge tank, fuel lines and sh1t you forget I havent got yet... I'll just wait till it comes. ECU already have as well as ApexI boost controller. Waiting on company to deliver my exhaust manifold. Things to consider soon just after engine is in or about built: Diff and Interior. Want to get re-trimmed but too lazy to get the back seat out from spray painters PLUS: Im driving a weapon at the moment so i dont mind Ford KB Laser.....eat ur heart out performance haha Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey guys it's been a while since i have driven my car but it's almost finished, I have done most almost all the work myself with the help of my brother and good mate. I've just had the car resprayed in 2k glasurit 2012 it's a flat black colour very similar to ebony black. Smoothed the bay myself and that got resprayed again. The boot has a custom set up with the usual gear polished surge tank and fuel pump, battery in boot but hidden etc. Engine has weisco forgies, arp studs etc, rajab manifold, custom plenum etc (all parts are either painted or polished of course), got a pioneer tv dvd etc in center dash piece, b&m shifter, waitin on 550kw keas box will keep you all updated and will put some photos up, dropin the motor in tomorrow Cheers guys Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah hey guys i haven`t met alot of people but mine will be finished paint in 2-3 weeks then i will be sending it straight to get the trimming done,thats about as far as i have planned atm but it will prob get diff and brakes next and motor,box,etc will be last, im going to look at my car tomorrow so il take some pics, there not gonna be much though just a vl in primer . cheers, jason. yeah im going for a 10 i would like lower but i want the car streetable aswell.

got my self a Rodeo ute sitting on 20s notched the back of the chassis so the chassis doesnt smash up against the diff and have a notch cover in the tray. come summer time im spraying the ute blood orange over white and bags are coming in the near future hopefully then ill be able to drag ass over the asphalt for some night time spark show mwahahaha

And hope you dont get a yellow.. that would be very-very hard to get off with a notched chassis... thats what stopped me doing it to mine.. :/

hey guys, haven't ben in a while, just got back from a holiday overseas- had to escape reality for a while. what stage is my money pit of a car at hey. well, i am having major drama with my ex-mechanic. he sold his business and took my money without completing the quote. whats worse i gave him an extra 5g for extra stuff i had planned outside of the quote, and none of that got done either. so now i have consumer affairs buliding a case for me, gonna end up in court to try and recover some money- no gurantees. so i basically spent $25g on not a hell of a lot. i have no paper work, no receipts, so have nothing to prove or show the next mechanic what is in it. also heard a dodgy story from an ex-employee aboutt he mtor, so now have to pay someone to strip it down, check it, and re-build it. also the rest of the engine bay is missing, so fck knows how much its goona end up costing me to get it running- at least another $10g easy. so i am currently thinking about who i am gonna take it to to finish it, so if you boys have any suggestions let me know. apart from that it is painted and basically put back together. bodykit was major hassel and paint took a lot longer than thought. but it is off to the sparky next monday and i must say it is looking the business. i have my polished fr19's at home so when they go on it is gonna look tuff. manifold and dump are back from ceramic coater- ended up getting 3 coats of high temp cause they wouldn't gurantee one coat, so they put on two coats, then it came back scratched so it was sent of for another coat. so its goes back their after the sparky for the twins to go on. had a custom tank made, but mechanic forget who made it, so can't find it. will need to make another one of those. about ready to start shooting should make motorvation with time to spare, just depends on the mechanic side of things. i hope the rest of you boys have had an easier ride then me, just been one problem after the next. oh, and it is coming up 2 years off the road. im sure the first drive will make it all worth while Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

well mine build has just begun... hope to be finished in 12 months (if i still have money) plans are RB26 head, GT35R, RB25 box, brake upgrade and retrim aim for 11's with response aplenty

disturbs car is not back in perth but there is a dark coloured vl getting around with a rajab sticker so i think whoever "saw him driving around" is tellin porky pies

mine needs bigger brakes, some 90/10s up front, rebuilt diff and roll cage then later down the track the wagon will come out looking not so sleeper styles Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
