Just thought i would let you guys know that my dads Skyline Stationwagon was pinched last night outside his work. Its a dam shame cos it is a good car and is immaculate. The police were informed straight away and they came out to investigate and told him that quite a few cars had been stolen that night. There was a car parked beside where my dads was which the police identified as being stolen earlier that night and the car seemed to have been very low on fuel. The cops theory which i think is spot on is that the thieves had done a house robbery or something similar and stolen a car to do a getaway in and drove it until they were out of fuel and then ditched it and grabbed my dads car. The police say that there is a high chance my dads car will turn up as they said the cars that were stolen last night where all just used as getaway cars and most likely where the same thieves stealing a car then ditching it and grabbing another one. So fingers crossed my dads car turns up with very minimal damage. It would be a dam shame to find it burnt out or something similar as my dad has only had it for about 2 months and has said its the best car to drive he has ever owned and loves it. So if anyone in the Canberra region see's a beige/tan coloured Skyline GLXE stationwagon in really good condition parked in a random place it is probably my dads as i havent seen many skyline stationwagons in canberra let alone ones in as good condition as my dads.
Any info on its where abouts would be a great help.
