Hey guys got a couple question bout my car coz i got yellow sticker yesterday when i went around a corner and i seen the cops wave me to pull over as they were booking another bloke in a vl! the cops gave me 6 days to take it ova the pits. They were trying to acuse me of reckless driving but they had no proof they could only hear a car wheelspin and then i came around the corner... they fined me $100 and 3 demeret points for undue and excession of noise... of course they searched my car and: Knock in steering...-they didnt even touch my steering wheel, needs seats replacing, Fix oil leaks, and fix strong fuel smell coming from engine bay----fu[ken bullsh1t they only thing that they had on me is my chopped springs. for sum reason my pop ups have only just stopped working... do these need to work to pass the pits? Can you just manually open them up b4 i go ova pits? How easy are springs to change by yourself? Also has anyone got a decent set of spare springs that they want to get rid of? cheers

steering wheel? fk that, u mustve had some hardass cops, ive been pulled over 'a few times', they dont even take any notice of the interior, lol :P. 'extractors' ? do u mean the exhaust manifold? or something like that :/ all turbo cars need this **** ;p, they cant do u for that, even a stock VLT would have this, where as if u had a NA VL (which i see u also own?) then yeh :/ maybe. cause thats not 'stock' and makes the car louder haha.

I've been pulled over a few times and yea no other cop has said anything about the car, 1 was even checking the car over but it was a "rendom licence check" or so he said... Yea it was in the n/a, i asked him why i need pemits and he said cos it's not stock.. i was talking to him a bit more about the pits and he said that most pits wouldn't even say anything about the extractors, so why give me the sticker?? I dont no...

they might not say anything at the pits but now they will because the cop picked it, they are focusing on yellow stickers at the moment, my mates brand new landcruiser got a sticker for window tint he took it to a tint place and went straight to the pits got it off in a hour.lol.

Er. You dont need a permit for extractors or pod filter anymore. As of like... One year ago.

pit inspectors absolutely dispise traffic police..... reason being most of the cars that go over defected arent really defects, just like that landcruiser example given before.... A pit inspector which is a customer of mine said he'd rather be doing more useful work like licensing new cars, or licensing of old cars that have been either done up or run outta rego etc...

being a 'pit' inspector seems like a pretty sad and repetitive job if u ask me, do they do anything else other than 'inspecting-the-same-****-day-in-day-out' lol

Jono I have not dealt wif cops this stupid before... These cops were ****heads, i cant believe they said you need permits for extractors?? ive gone over pits b4 wif extractors. They checked my engine bay and i had extractors and pod filter, the cops didnt say any thing. Im gonna go to pits tomorow as is and get a proper list made up, might even get it over lol.... Jono was it pretty obviouse that i did fishy? Was it loud? wat were the pigs sayin when i came round corner? i gotta say that not all cops are ****heads coz i have had a lot af cops pull me over and they are usually pretty cool, and i dont blame them from putting the sticker on my car, coz it is low as...
