Mate, Just so you know(In case you dont). Traffic Coppers will defect you for chrome gauges as they have to be mat black. Alot of people have them but thats the rules in QLD anyway. Cheers Imtorqing

if you really want them on the bonnet then A.get liquid filled ones as normal ones will fail if they get wet. B.be prepared for the day when someone steals them

yeah its funny how cops never say to you that you can have them but change the colour! yeh we aren't allowed a 5" tacho and you look inside a highway patrol car all the crap that they have

Mine actually stay in the car below heater controls. Was just seeing what they looked like on the bonnet. Cups are about $50 each and the gauges range from $150 upwards. It's a tough look but impractable if you leave your car out where people might have the chance to steal them.

Yeah people will steal them, cops will pull you up when they see them, and the wank factor gauge will be peaking so much the glass will break!

you dont need liquid filled gauges for the outside...the only reason they invented the liquid filled gauges is for the big rumbly v8s that litelarly shake the whole car, the liquid is there to stabilize the needle from shaking with the whole car a lot of people put a bead of silicon on the cup and that seals it sufficiently against rain
