threads like this almost make me cry. It's been nearly 6months since my VK went to the sprayshop. I saw it supposedly "done" but not fitted back together this week. Runs everywhere in the clear, dirt under the clear, paint looks like an orange peel. They missed a few big patches with the clear. They missed a few patches with paint altogether. I got black window surrounds, and the blacks been oversprayed onto the doors....theres big hard lines in the paint where they ****ed up masking some stuff up...I told em to fkoff and do it again...they reckon they can fix it...fat chance though...yours looks awesome though mate Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It was baremetal respray with front and back windows removed to get rid of rust (main reason for rebuild) and including a heap of other bits and pieces (all new badges etc...) i got not much change from $8,000 but worth every cent!!!! Taking wheels and sh!t down today so i'll get some good pics and post em as soon i can. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Did you do eng bay, door jambs or just the outside?

nah left the engine bay and door jams coz its too much hassle for little results... Base color is still close to original so it shouldn't look too out of place.
