lol some R31 boys are such hypocrites, they whinge that VLs use a Holden badge on the RB30, yet they stick a Nissan badge on a 308??
Looks f***ing tough though.

get over it. I've seen rb20's, 25's, and 26's in VL's before, some debadged, one that had a holden badge. So what. You see enough commies gettin around with chev badges
But anyway, dont have any power figures etc, but this bloke runs mid 10's all day without any hassles.

nice effort
but on the badge topic, you usually find people put on the badge of the type of motor in the car, not the type of car around the motor.

Nah I think the Nissan badge looks good, its just some R31 guys sook and bitch about VLs having Holden badges on RB30s.
Not like we can help it anyway, since they came out like that.

There's a story on this car in the latest "Performance Buildups" magazine! That should tell you what you want to know.

it was in the trader for $20,000, not worth it, has no cooler and needs avgas and 17psi to run that, and the motor is totally stock except for cam, so it won't last to long befoire cracking a ring land or lifting a head. The motor is separate
for $6000 this week , again not worth the sum pile of parts, cool car though,
sound tough aswell
cheers
darren
10.8 at 121, not mid tens! has a couple of 58/60mm t04's on it
has a trimatic in it aswell, which no doubt would drop it's guts all over the road
They are a minimal installation at the best of times in a full weight vl running just
into the 10's, let alone a torque monster like that.
Cool car, just not for 20 big ones

If the motor was cheaper id look at getting it! But not for a dead stocker thats had 17psi pumped into it with no cooler on stock compression.
10.8 on a stock 308 is bloody awesome however! Id be scared to drive it with a trimatic... id be constantly thinking its going to go bang!

Martin would've run those numbers easily, if setup right, on the stock motor brett.
and PAZZO runs some good numbers with his trimatic
