I am just about to start a turbo conversion N/a to turbo I am starting with a healthy rb30. I have purchased a standard turbo with manifold and oil lines off a rb30 turbo. obviously i need a dump pipe and a metal maf pipe. But can i bolt this set up to my motor with no major mods. No intercooler ect just stocko turbs????? Please help. Only cheap conversion NO BIG dollar budget

you dont neeeeed injectors etc,but they are a bi big plus.it is possible to get away running NA injectors and computer etc.a vl around my joint runs a t70,front mount and about 15psi.the fool runs 8 stock na injectors and thinks his car would run a 10.ha

Got told all i need was oil lines turbo maf pipe dump pipe and manifold for turbs and a bit of time read this... http://www.calaisturbo.com.au/showthread.php?t=4362 if you want your motor to last, read this thoroughly, i cant stress enough how important it is to do a conversion properly, that way you wont be kicking yourself when everything goes to sh!t and youre looking at a few grand to fix something that would have cost half that to begin with... you WILL need turbo injectors, ECU, crossover pipe (i recommend running an intercooler but if you dont want to, your eventual funeral) turbo (preferably rebuilt) manifold, standard dump pipe, standard NA AFM is fine... im no expert but this is just common knowledge and ive experienced a fair bit of dramas with conversions, dont learn the hard way... good luck heres a bay pic for the "DJ" Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I already had the adjustable cam gear on my engine before I did the conversion, worked well when it was n/a. I'll get my cooler sometime later in the year, need to save up for it as I'm a poor uni student. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
