Just wondering how often walkinshaw owners take your cars out. im taking ownership of my first walky in about 4 weeks and im just going to be so tempted to fire her up every day no doubt. its going to be hard not to drive her. so do yas drive em for special occasions, or only when its sunny or???

i ended up using #149 as a daily driver back in 1999, 2000. put about 25000km on it from 1999 to 2002 when I sold it. I bought #001 in 2002. I have since covered roughly 4000km since purchancing it. Over half of that was driving it home from brisbane in the first week of ownership. It hasnt seen much driving since.

I bought mine to use as a daily driver in 2001, but I was always really paranoid about theft, vandalism and shopping trolly scrapes. So for a few years it shared daily driver duties with a beat up FX Holden that I also own. About a year ago I did the right thing and bought a VZ ute as the daily driver, so now the Walky leads a pampered life and I usually take it out for a long cruise to enjoy it each weekend. By the way, BlownHSV - I've seen a Walky living in Kelso (I won't name the street). Is that yours?

Depends on the kays i think. If its low kays then limit the driving.Higher kays it wont matter as long as you look after it.

Just most ppl only think of low km as being ultra low. thats still under 7000km a year average. nice.
