just a hypothetical question. what would be your ultimate rb engine/trans combo if money wasn't a problem? mine would have to be a rb26 n1 engine with os giken 3L kit, t51r or t88 turbo, motec engine management, holinger sequential box. gtr's struggle for traction with this set up, a vl would probably smoke the tyres coming onto boost in top gear! sic!

26/30, huge cams, bulletproof bottom end, either twin 25/30 turbos or one big 30/40 (focus on response rather than HP), bolted up to a r34 GTR 6 speed with awd case removed. Motec managment. Electronic detroit locker diff

drop the whole motor and gearbox in, sell the rest of the GTR to help fund this.

smart thinkin , juz a matter of findin someone willing to buy the the rest without a drive train , would the diff be of any help ? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

the diff would be more hassle and trouble than it's worth as far as fitting it into a vl goes. A VLT diff with a spool or LSD will do fine and be the most cost efficent. Seperate the drivetrain of the gtr and sell it off, GTR's break heaps of parts all the time so i dont imagine they would be hard to sell. R32 GTR brakes can also be used on a VL i believe.

Well, going by what a supra would do with that ****....you have a very good chance. Funny as.. i remember when you started to build that back in the old fullboost forum days, and had twin RX6's for it, etc. That would have been 7/8yrs ago, i wish you the best of luck, you've been waiting long enough. cheers darren Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

sorry what are twin rx6's? i started to build this car 3 year and 4 months ago,1 year and 7 months of that time was a complete waste where the mechanic in sydney basically spent my funds and it took him all that time to pay me back with the parts, then i headed to bresciani where in under 6 months we have nearly completed the mission. im confident the car will make 1200+hp without the bottle, that will get me close to where i wanna go then i get really get serious with. my future plans is to buy a turn key race car from the states with a 2jz producing 1600+hp and running into the 6's....ive got my eyes open, lol.
