Hey people.
I recently blew the gasket in between where the exhaust manifold attaches to the exhaust pipe. It was leaking pretty badly, could smell fumes badly when driving.
So i bought a new gasket for $9, from bullseye, put it on and done up the bolts in the normal ordely fashion only to find that it was still leaking when i started it back up, although not as bad. Im thinking maybe something has distorted or warped, and that maybe 2 gaskets over each other would help?
Is there any sort of gasket goo that can help me?
My vl sounds as bad as a vn i have to fix this.
Heres a pic if you want, you can see in the top corner the blackness is where it was leaking badly.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
Either maniseal and gasket hopefully will take it up, Two gaskets may work but if it's that badley warped probably need to linish both faces flat. You can do this yourself with a flat file by hand or get on a linishing machine at your exhaust shop.
