ive just had my 3inch exhaust and custom dump pipe done and the turbo had to come out cos the original studs on the cast iron dump snapped so i got the turbo re-studded... though now wen theyve put the turbo back in the oil line is leaking where it meets the turbo, they are gunna fix it as he sed its just a washer/seal...the car is still at the shop so its not gettin driven im not sure if its the return or feed line but im worried they are gunna **** up my turbo my mate sed if its the feed line then it could be starving the turbo of oil is there anything else that could happin? or am i stressin too much lol thanks mat Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Probably only if its getting driven a bit, they are a copper washer I think and they probably didnt use new ones when they put it back together. It also depends how bads its leaking, if its only a little drip moving the car in and out of their factory probably not to bad but if its pissing out then yeah it could be starving the turbo of oil.

the car is on the hoist for the last wekk not moving anywhere hasnt even done a km since i left it there when he started it, it was drippin like a drip ever second or so (i think, from wat i remember) when i was standing under the car facing the front with the passenger wheel to my left, if i looked up the line looked like it was on the left of the turbo im pretty sure hope that helps distinguishing which line it is

mate i wont be goin back there the motor only has 6000km on it so if it aint exactly how it was wen it went in there, like even if it makes a different ound, i will be kickin up a fuss straight out

Your sressing too much - its a common thing with banjo fittings - even some new ones leak depending on how well they seal and if the actual banjo bolt is in good condition. Sounds like they are fixing it as part of their service - whats the issue?

The Seal you are talking about can be 2 types copper or very soft steal i cant remmber the name of it off hand but once tightened they seal it if the washer it self has been squashed to much then yes it will leak but it shouldnt leak massive amounts plus its like a .50c washer just buy a new one and give it to them if you are worried. And make sure its put on b4 you leave

no the exhaust was fit on the 7th day took 4days for them to re stud the turbo they sed they have fixed it now, tho the car is staying another day and half as i have asked to have the exhaust raised because it sits tooooo low and i wont be able to go over speed bumps and if i suspect the any oil leaking from this line i will be bak there without hesitation by the way this is supposably a "custom exhaust centre" pfffttt

Could be a leaking line or L-piece.. you wouldnt boost or run a turbo for longer than absolutely necassary if you knew there was a problem with it's oil supply.
