I have just pulled a calais front of the wreck I have in the driveway. so I have the existing relay (which is located behind the drivers side headlight) but, what do I do with the other existing wires which lead into a loom? There's nowhere to plug them into on my executive. Jason.

Alright, I've taken some pictures so you can see what I have. Do I just not worry about the loom and leave it unplugged? And just screw the relay into place behind the drivers side headlight? Jason.

Ohhh haha, now I get what you ment! I don't understand what's 12V and ground and stuff? Also, do I like solder the wires onto the pins or something? Could you provide a photo of what you have done? Thanks but man! Jason.

I cut the plugs off mine and joined all the wiring from the eyelid motor to about 2m of cable and put everything in the fuse box. I used 5-core cable to keep it all neat and tidy and wired to the relay with insulated spade type crimp terminals. 12V is any source of power, I went from the battery with a 15A fuse. Ground/Earth is anywhere on the chassis. Mines earthed to the firewall behind the fusebox. Quote: Originally Posted by aquabat Do I just not worry about the loom and leave it unplugged? Sweet. I know **** all about electrics! Haha. I might just leave them disconnected so they stay down anyway? But I wouldnt mind having them hooked up. Sorry to be a real pain in the ass, but could you do maybe a basic diagram in paint with the color wires and **** of what has to go where. We could always turn that into a good technical article. Jason. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

No worries Come to think of it I didnt wire directly to the loom from the eyelid motor. I put a 3pin plug inbetween (blue/green/black wires) so I can disconnect them if I ever want to leave them down. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
