My car has been off road for the last 4 months getting stuff done. All started from a blown t3/4 but went like this... Got a T04Z on hi-mount exaust manifold with 44 mm tial wastegate chucked in a 1147b/818c cam, larger exaust side to help with spool up Micro-tech with new wiring and battery in boot. New fuel system. Twin AU thermos to help cool the thing wired threw the micro-tech. Upgraded fuel system to 044 pump, peirburg intank pump going to a 2.8ltr surge tank going to custom rail with 770CC injectors. First, pulled motor out and striped the engine bay, smoothed out everything. Welded all holes, poped factory dints out..and painted Cleaned the block and re-painted with engine black, and detailed some parts. Put cam in motor and put together and bolted on all turbo parts... Put all back together, went to JDCustom for, hi-mount, piping, overflow, surge tank, radiator sheild and basic help putting together. Then to Bresciani for wiring of Micro-Tech, battery in boot and tune.. Made 315.7rwkw on 22psi, running lil rich and low timing to keep motor healthy untill i get new rods and o-ring block. Went back 4 days later and nilly 400kms driving to check some things and matched power figure, showing that its all going strong...:d Once again a big thanks to John Bresciani for all the late nights and help along the way and Jamie JDCustom for nilly everything under my bonnet... May be a silly question but why no pod? Won't that cause damage driving it like that? Lovely looking engine bay though!

That was day after i got car and didnt have pod...i know silly me Things that still need to be done, Paint head light panel, adjust eye lids to sit level, was all thrown together as a rush job for easternats but still didnt make it.. Bigger brakes and slicks... My goal now is to pull a 10sec pass in steet trim with no trans brake... after that i will be gettin scat rods, o-ring block and big head work and lil bit more boost. And go trans brake for ultimate times... ATM car is my only car and driven everyday, so i wanna drive to calder pull and 10 and go home..... Cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I saw your car when it was at JDCUSTOM, the engine bay looks mint. congrats. You say they did a rich tune with conservative timing to save the motor but your driving it with no air cleaner?

well done mate, looks a treat and makes the power to match. good pics to tell the story as well. what are your thoughts on how it drives compared to the old setup?

the radiator cover was made by JDCustom... its longer than the radiator so its hard to see the bottom of engine and thermos....looks trick but...the same one can be used if u have the nizpro style cooler where cooler sits where rad does and rad is closer to motor.... PM JDCustom for one..... thanx for comments guys. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

UMMM...its got a large cam now, was stock before so its a lil bit more rough.. but its very aggressive when it hits boost....i will post up the dyno read out to show power curve...and with full manual its fun to drive... and its laggyer than before but thats expected with large turbo... hits boost under 4000rpm but.... Sounds pretty lumpy for a 6 and is loud with screamer... GMFA-18: i know, but really what is going to get flung up there?? look at all cars at strip running no filters....
