What is the gold coin donation for?

the gold coin donation is for the person or people who take the time to draw a map with directions and all that an photo copy it hundreds of times haha, could organise a bbq or something maybe so everyone could interact abit more at the first or 2nd meet point alter the route a little bit.

Nah, people that plan cruises shouldnt gain money from it. No one is going to pay money for it if it just goes to like, Hamoud.

They won't profit from it if it goes toward food for the bbq.

I organised the last 3 cruises (the last one being partly organised by me), and I didnt see a need to ask for gold coin donations, even though I went to the effort of making maps for the cruise. Would be better next time if maybe donations go to the children's hospital or something, but as far as "time and effort" goes, I just did it to help the club become more known, didnt see a need in getting compensated for paper/ink/time. As far as the next cruise goes, I'm still thinking of whether I want to organise another one, as it can get quite annoying when the whole night you're stressing about people doing burnouts (it also tends to take a lot of the fun out of the actual cruise), so if I decided I can put up with it, I'll see if Hamoud wants to help organise another one, if not, I'll give it some time to gather up some demand, then I'll organise one before the weather gets too cold hopefully.

CT will NEVER ask for a gold coin donation.. biggest scam a "club" can do. I mean how much does it cost to photocopy some maps? 5-10 cents? Most people would do it at work for free anyway. I'd rather re-imburse the person who prints it from my own pocket than ask you guy's to pay for it.

i like the idea of Childrens Hospital *Gold Coin Donation*....make each cruise a *Gold Coin Donation* for different charities....what u rekon? Each cruise dedicate one to each charity Childrens Hospital Homeless People Cancer Council Starlight Foundation.....ect

What lets say 100 cars, thats $100. Really not that massive amount of a donation. Not worth the bother
