Hey all, got another gen. fuel pump with spade terminals only to find that the connectors on the pump in the car [S1 turbo calais] has threaded studs. Thought it may have been yet another S1 - S2 difference but when I checked the S1 exec, it has spade terminals. any one know what the deal is?? The gm parts book lists only one pump for all variants The calais looks original with right angle rubber booted wires Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Originally they came with spade terminals, but the new pumps, even from GMH under the GMH part number, come with a replacement terminal kit to change them over to ring terminals and nuts. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hey thanks for the info. that sounds on the money as I had another look at the ring terminals on the calais and they do have a 'replaced' look about them, very neatly done though Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
