hey all. Tommorow im thinking of buying a malpassi rising rate fuel reg (silver top) for my VLT with intercooler and highflow t3. Standard computer, injectors, pump. A couple of questions... The way these regs work is simply to increase how much fuel pressure there is by pound of boost so you can run more boost as your engine is running richer. Yeh?? So under normal driving the car will be running fairly rich then? Also when you connect one of these up can you put them where the orignal fuel reg was on the manifold or are the brakets different. Some of you guys leave them loose holding on by the fuel lines? Last thing.. Once its connected im obviously going to get it tunned and boost FINALLY increased on a dyno. But before then do the regs come with a standard setting. I imagine the screw on top adjusts the fuel pressure which yu need a gauge for. Just wondering if its safe to do with my boost turned down less than what it is at the moment of 9psi. Thanks

yeah the screw on top adjusts the pressure and they have an extra nut screwed into the reg. which you can take out to put on a pressure guage. its pretty hard to accurately adjust the fuel pressure and get the car running ats its optimum without the guage. mine is running at around 30 psi at idle and around the 55-60 psi at full boost. what is everyone elses set at?
