Hey people i currently brought my first vl ever and it was a vl berlina 5spd manual but when i brought it the guy said it needs some work and my neighbour who is a mechanic came with us it was in the tradinpost for $2000 and i got it for $800 cash which every one thinks is the best buy ever because its a metalic blue colour and its manual and a berlina ive cleaned it up polished it and cleaned d interior up but now my mechanic checked it and goes i need a new head for it, which he thinks to get it all done will cost about $400 $500. Im wondering if anyone knows any good and maybe cheaper places i can get a reco head for my rb30 motor that is not turboed sorry if i dont sound like i know to much about them but i want this thing running before i do anymore damage to it because i have to keep filling the radiator with water please if anyone can help. Offer you mechanic neighbour some cash on the side to do it If you go to a workshop you might be looking at upwards of $800.00. Secondhand heads can be found for as low as $50 just to give you an idea, then have it prepped and machined can be another couple of hundred. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Aw k thankz mate sorry its just im new to this site and new to holdens because im only 17 turning 18 and i got my first vl berlina manual last week so i need to change the head my neighbour will do it 4 me for free but ill get him a box of coronas or sumthing anywayz im gona buy a second hand head for $100 bux i found and my neighbour gona fix it and put into my car than all i need is the thermo and the exhaust manifold ye coz i already brought a headgasket for it thankz alot MADVK308 cheers Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
