I orginaly had an N/A motor in my VL until 2 weeks ago when i dropped a VLT motor in it. Since i have only had a Turbo car for a few weeks i don't know what is normal and what isn't. When i am driving and the car starts boosting, at around 2000rpm the engine note almost completely dissapears and all you can hear is the turbo spooling. The car still boost as per normal and i don't lose any power when this happens. It sounds like i am driving then the motor turns off but the turbo keeps spooling and i keep getting power. I know the engine doesnt turn off but i was just stating that it sounds like it because the sound of the engine isn't there anymore. I guess what i am trying to ask is, is my car surging and not getting enough fuel to the engine or is this a normal sound or is something else happening? I will be getting my car dyno'd and tuned in a few weeks time and would like to know whats going on before then. Cheers in advance.

Yer.. the boost just making them sound nicer.. in your NA it would have gotten louder and uglyer.. with turbos it stops the big bangs comming out the zoost and just a smooth VRRRRRRRRRRR, Thats becuase of the turbo blocking the pipe..
