I got a bit of a price for an exhaust, dump pipe, and cooler piping. The dump pipe is 4inch stainless steel and is for a high mount - $600 The exhaust is 3.5 inch stainless - $1200 The cooler piping is 3inch stainless - $1200 Its all tig welded and the quality would be a1. Taking that into account does that sound right? Seems a bit steep to me!

i'm gettin 3" mild steel turbo back, 3" high flow cat, then 3" stainless all mandrel bent with 3" straight tru muffler with nice tip PLUS cooler piping for rb30 in r31 provided i remove current exhaust and fit cooler for $1300. sure u pay for quality but i wouldn't pay twice as much for similar job just top notch one. i've seen the work my exhaust bloke does and i'm more than pleased with what he does. 3k is a bit steep i rekon but who knows u pay for workmanship really.

Yeah ill c why he reckons 1200 for cooler piping. If its done right which i know it will be i wont mind as much. He is going to do extractors and full exhaust for some old ferrari thats worth 1 million. Thats only going to set the owner back 20,000!! So who thinks alloy would be better? Is it cheaper? The cooler im not sure yet. Probably will end up getting an a.r.e cooler 600x300x115 but they are about 1300 compared to a hybrid copy which is about 300 for a 100mm thick one. Anyone have any suggestions?

well vl god ran a 9.938 with ur typical 180 dollar 600x300x76 with plenty more room for improvement so anythung that flows half decent would do the job

Anyone have any suggestions? alloy is better from the turbo to the cooler, as it disperses heat alot faster, having stainless from the cooler to the manifold HPC coated, as it will defelect the heat and take alot longer to get heat soak also that's a **** load paid $600 for my cooler piping in stainless and tig welded other than having heaps of bends in your piping why's it going to cost so much, and on the other note if it's got heaps of bends then it's not going to be that effient? 20k for and exhuast is just stupid, i think they are bumping the price up because of what u want, not there work my mate does welding polishes all the welds out so u can't see a thing and looks like one pipe, don't understand how that cost so much more!
