REXTSE WRX Club Spec Evo 2 MAKE: Subaru MODEL: Impreza WRX Club Spec Evo 2 YEAR: 1998 ABOUT THE CAR: Its pretty much a stock WRX. I bought it in late 2005 stock and Im planning on doing a few things to it. But besides stock it has: - Pedders Adjustable Front Suspension. - CD Deck with Flash Disk. - 1 x 800W 12" Kicker Subwoofer. - 2 x 900W US Audio 4 CH Amplifier (2 Different Models). - The most obvious change is the plates 'REXTSE' (REX-T-SE). WHATS IN PLAN FOR THE CAR: - Turbo Back Exhaust. - APS Cold Air Intake. - GFB BOV. - Upgraded bodykit and wing. - Several changes to the interior and entertainment system. MY98... Best Subaru model ever imo... STi came factory with a T66 I think? They go hard, they corner well all the time... And they look sweet If I didn't keep buying VL's and VL bits, I would've had one... Heh Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

thanks people If I was to go for another Subaru it would probably be an STI, Those things go damn hard! The only real major thing that the WRXs had is the gearbox's.. fairly week sadly to say and I beleive the MY97/98 had the worst of them all. The newer models 03+ dont seem to be having any problems with gearbox's though so perhaps they've fixed it.. As for the MY98's being the best..there deffinitly not..3/4 of them have developed "piston slap" which is harmless but sounds shocking on cold startup If i could drive a My00 on my P's I would have bought one Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if you want a gearbox that isn't made of toothpicks PPG is the way to go, although straight cut 1st - 4th can cost somewhere between $5000 - $7000... very expensive..
