Okay, I finally got around to fitting my engine and everythings bolted in. I have a problem with the intake runner hitting on the brake booster. (as cn be seen in the photo.) Just wondering what everyone has done to get around this. I didnt have the problem before as I used an N/A booster wich is smaller in size. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

rims look good.. people i know that have done the conversion shifted the motor forward 1-1.5 inch forward i think it was makes the shifter line up better too, also allows you to take the box out without the housing hitting the tunnel.

maybe the booster is crooked? you can muck around with the bracket on the front of the booster to pull it towards the tower more you won`t need much clearence.

1-2 cm should be enough, the engine twists doesnt move side to side so 1 cm will be ok.

i've got the same trouble in mine i just put an rb25det into a berlina n/a and its hitting the booster so what im thinking of doing is lifting the right side of the motor up and putting some thick washers and spacers on the engine mount.....hopefully that works but if you find another way let me know!

yeah you could put some flat bar under the mount, i would move the booster over. is it hard up against it or just touching?

back off all the engine mount bolts on the block aswell as the gearbox to crossmember bolts. physically push the engine and box as far as you can away from the booster. while someone holds it all there nip up the bolts.

yeah do what duz360 said and do a bit of the booster to and you should be sweet.

yeah i don't see how u could be having a problem if u using both the RB30 engine mounts it will bolt straight up, make sure u have put the mounts on the correct bracket on the block that could be your problem!
