ey jst wanna no did walkinshaws only come in v8's? and did they come factory wit calais fronts aswell? can somone giv me some info on them.. and post some pics of original ones if possible thanx

Yup only v8's champ.And pretty sure only the standard lights were used not flip up lights.

if they have proof of the calais front being fitted from a dealer, then i guess it is unique. there is nothing to stop you buying it and putting a normal front back on. they are original with sunroofs, calais fronts etc its just they have had that particular part of the car modified, the rest of them is still genuine Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

considering the age of the vehicles (lets face it VLs have been around the block in 20 years!) it is hard to determine whether the modifications to these particular Walkinshaws were infact done at the dealership as they rarely documented mods and didnt have computer systems etc to do so... but as JR84VK5L said, it has been known for some to have calais fronts and missing pieces of kits, think i read somewhere that 10 were done with a calais front and the rear wing removed??? is there someone that was actually old enough out there able to verify???

you put ACL pistions in your motor does that make it not nissan? just a little mod. Same thing.. I love the look of walkys with clais fronts..

totally out of context Matty, everyone knows a Walkinshaw with all of its original parts intact is going to be worth more than one that has had significant body mods done by Joe Blo...

Yeah from my knowledge, they struggeled to sell some of the last walkies, so they took them back, and did a few things like Calais Front, and removing some bits of the kit, to make them sell better. So there would be some out there

Walkinshaws only came in V8. As for calais front, dealers put them on as 'option'. Although from the factory they came with the normal (non calais) headlights. I've never heard about them taking them back to the factory because they couldn't sell and putting calais fronts on...
