lpg gas turbo straight gas (just some key search words so every can find the thread when they search ) Seing as its getting more and more popular and there is always a thread on what needs to be done and who is running straight gas/turbo setup, why dont we setup a thread for everyone who has done it, what they have, and how it performs. My setup: VL Commodore (exec, n/a model) Car was a stock standard dual fuel n/a commo and i have converted the whole car myself over the last twoish years. hypertec turbo pistons standard turbo exhaust manifold highflow turbo (to4 front cover) 600x300x76 intercooler 3" exhaust two 3" mufflers and cat converter 3" intercooler piping JD Custom plenum n/a intake runners with injector holes welded up modified jatco 4 speed auto 2800 stall converter Standard n/a VL computer, standard CAS, standard airflow meter, standard coil Crow stage 1 cam Now the gas part : 2x B2 converters with gas research spring kit 2x 22 L/P/H lock off valves twin feed lines from the tank sprint LPG tank (this is **** and i have an APA90 tank to go in with 'modified' excess flow valve) 5/8" balance lines coming from 'cooler pipe before the intercooler. 440 cfm 'awesome' gas research throttle body All instalation work, tuning and fabrication done by myself or between myself and my friend. E/T : n/a not run as yet mph : n/a not run as yet dyno power : n/a was on the dyno at mates workshop but didnt bother with power figure as im not interested... the black top is the only true dyno Future goals for the car : In the very near future i will be adding an ignition booster (msd/crane etc unit as well as a good coil) and also mechanical water injection (very cheap to setup and worth every cent [imagine intake temps like a cold cold winters night all year round, all the time]) Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Now the gas part : 2x B2 converters with gas research spring kit > without a primer they are around 160-200 depending on who you know or where you get them from 2x 22 L/P/H lock off valves > these were $120 each and dont look like a conventional lock off. twin feed lines from the tank > done myself sprint LPG tank (this is **** and i have an APA90 tank to go in with 'modified' excess flow valve) > was already in the car, s/h APA tank was $100 5/8" balance lines coming from 'cooler pipe before the intercooler. > about $30 all up in brass fittings and rubber hose etc 440 cfm 'awesome' gas research throttle body > s/hand cost $300 they do come up in the trading post a bit, and to get the venturi and discharge nozzle changed (to change the cfm) is about $85, so if you see a good condition one for 200 that is 320cfm or 550, then it will owe you 300 all up.... not 100% sure on brand new cost for one. Id say it would be around $550.

Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Are you qualified to do these gas lines yourself??? i certainly wouldnt make a backyard job out of doing stuff like that. BTW them T/B'S from GRA were about $450ea new last time i checked
