Last night at about 12:30 am I heard my car being driven away as I ran out the front door to see what the noise was. These low life pieces of S@!t stole my baby from down the side of my house behind locked gates.
It was taken from the Engadine area just south of Sutherland in Sydney. I only just bought the car on the 2nd of december last year. I finally got it running sweet as after it was suffering from a dodgy catch can installation and an intermitant electrical fault that seemed nearly impossible to find.
The rego is AD 81 KN and it is white over silver with a front mount intercooler and 19inch chrome ADR mags. It's a 5speed manual series 2 with blueish/grey interior. It also has a sunroof. I have a good pic if someone can host it for me. Let me know. Cheers.
Now I'm aware that it's probably stripped by now and the chance I'll ever see it again is extremely slim but any info at all on the where abouts of this car would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you saw it driving last night or heard something. Anything at all please let me know.

man put a pic up just funny i seen a calais Turbo down at a servo near my house yesterday it had a long intercooler across the front and out under the bumper could be some1 else's yer but i have never seen it there b4.
So Sorry to hear mate, my VL Calais was taken from Engadine on 29th December so I know how you are feeling right now, hope you get her back in one piece mate. I will definently keep an eye out for you and will let my mates know as well.
Car was fitted with an alarm from previous owner. Not sure what type. Was waiting on a payout coming to me so I could get satellite tracking installed. Was due to happen in the next two weeks.
Miz_VL_Turbo- I always watch who's behind me. If someone is following me Ill drive past my street and around the block until they are gone. I spose you can't notice everyone.
Thanks for all the condolances guys I really appreciate it. I really want to get another one cos these cars are awesome cars to drive. It just depends if the credit union will extend my loan enough. So, with that in mind The olds and I have decided to go all out with security and install some serious gear in the garage and down the side of my house. I spose if these pieces of s@!t really want your car they'll get it. But I'm gona do my best to make it as hard as possible for them.
I've been thinking about it and I thought I might mention this and see what you guys think of it. There was this one guy who was driving along side me on the Wednesday arvo before my car was stolen. We were cruisin through the Bankstown/Padstow/Menai area. He also had a very nice calais turbo. It was the same colour as the dark metallic blue colour on the VY commodores, with a half walky kit. Anyway, we swapped numbers and he called me asking heaps of questions about the car. Like the condition of the motor and car in general and if i'd had any problems with it. That night the car was stolen. I've been told it's easy to find out personal info on people through their mobile number if you know the right people. Maybe it was him, maybe it wasn't but it seems pretty suss to me, or am I just paranoid?
sounds suss but he would have to be a dumb**** if he gave you his number and knows you saw his numberplates, he would know that you would come looking for him right away... so i doubt it is him unless he is a royal ****wit. Hope it is though, means you might get her back..
Lows2- Sorry to hear bout your car mate. Probably a stupid question but did you ever hear anything more about it? I'm now coming to the conclusion that you can't own a vlct in Sydney and use it as a daily driver, even if you don't let it out of your sight. Cos some low life will just tax it.
Mate be as paranoid as you want, your girl has been taken from you and any lead is a lead so try and use it to your advantage!
also that lead from the servo/ did it check out with the details of your car/ servo=camera=offender? cameras arent always on but its worth a try,

Yeah true. but even if I did find him I wouldn't be able to prove anything. So I'm screwed anyway. It seems to me that the justice system swings heavily in the criminals favour when it comes to theft.

Thanks mate. Yeah I've sent him a pm asking him where and when. Ive also asked him to check my pics wen they get posted to see if it's the same car. I've door knocked in my area to see if anyone saw or heard anything. So yeah i'm trying. Funny thing though, the cops told me they pulled over a car that matched the description I gave them but had different number plates. It was in my area just after mine was stolen, in the middle of the night. Now if it was them it wouldn't be hard to throw on some plates off another white over silver calais would it?
