Hey all finally purchased a Vl turbo disc to disc LSD diff after 3 weeks driving a vl turbo in a single spinner diff (no fun at all). Its code on the diff is 92030910 which according to this site came out of a vl turbo sedan with FE2 suspension of U5W susp.
Just a couple of questions i did do a search and it confused me a bit in some answers.
Firstly i don't want a LSD as my driving would suit a minispool much better. However after doing a search it seems to me you can't install a minispool in a vl turbo lsd center. Is this correct??
Also how strong are the 28 spline axles? Will they break quite easily with a minispool?

Ok thats good to hear. I was reading the installation guide on here to instal a spool and it says its not possible to install one with a lsd center. Then in another post it seems some people are able to install them.
completely off topic, but i believe you were parked at north gate maccas when we rocked up for the vl cruise...
as for the lsd to minispool, ive heard the same...
but why would you want a minispool over an lsd? suppose its personal preference .
Yeh i was lol. I was in hungry jacks with some mates recovering from a very big night out in town. Walk out and theres vl calais turbos everywhere lol. Some very nice ones by the way. I was just too hung over to come over for a talk and geez.
Reason i want a minispool over a lsd is because i want to be able to spin both wheels every time guranteed as it suits my driving style knowing they are both going to go.
