Thought i'd throw up some info about my car and see if anyone has any comments to drive me to do more from factory according to tags : 86 bt1 currently: blue over silver, series 2 blue calais interior with sunroof bored 40 thou acl forged race series pistons and bearings machined rods from a rebuild 5000km's prior to purchase t3/4 hiflowed turbo t piece boost controller running 12-14 psi blow off valve n/a plenum 3" exhaust factory lsd currently running n/a 5 speed gearbox Things to do before the end of february: Purchase clutch kit and fit fully rebuilt vl turbo 5 speed gearbox (fly wheel machined n waiting) Purchase new larger blow off valve Purchase front mount cooler and pipework Purchase better boost controller, tossing up between electronic or changeing the actuator Total rebuild from pulling the motor out to fitting back in took 3 weeks leaving the car at the stage it's at now, soon to be finished and updated Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

heyas, wells after blowing my other vl n/a up and having spent most of my time on that or asleep nothings happened to the blue car, tossing up about just buying a high mount manifold n bigger turbo kit off the forums and a fuel kit or not sure, white vl's back on the road as of yesterday so now onto the clutch, once the box is in and i can sell the other car i'll decide which direction i'll go, also thinkin about sellin it, keeping the motor, getting a twin cam head and putting it in a skyline and neno i used to get out a lil bit round aspley with mark n bec but been partyin too much to go cruisin lately, add me to ya msn if ya want [email removed] i hope to be on the next cruise with at least the new box and the other mags on it

well thought it might be time for an update car died one day... and after every backyard mechanic had a looksee it just wasn't going, and so it sat for a year or more, under a cover getting fiddled with every few weeks to no avail untill one day for some unknown reason with a fresh set of plugs in it and new timing, she started, i hate vl's so as it sits... guages - water temp, boost, a/f ratio, tacho turbosmart dual stage boost controller blow off valve malpassi fuel pressure regulator romac adj cam gear and balancer new coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor, new crank angle sensor, air flow meter, fuel sender unit, in tank and external (bosch 040) fuel pumps currently waiting on manifold and turbo to arrive, then once the piping cooler, and plenum get sorted it should be all back on track, a lil late but hey at least things are goin again thanks for readin!

well may as well do a quick update since it's been a while, cars back sittin in the garage with a dead turbo, since the last update it's also had the haltech installed got running killed a forged bottom end, replaced with a wreckers engine and back running again, stereos been stripped from the car, just waiting on a new turbo then it'll go for a tune and the old blocks waiting for another set of forgies i may add pics sometime
