I was recently blessed by the God of Commodores as he sent me to a car yard where I found this automatic 1987 VL SL N/A Commodore. I havent done anything to it myself but the previous owner has. It's been kitted out with a great body kit and HDT letterbox grill. The previous owner has put in a kind of crappy looking Racing steering wheel, this i plan to replace with a nice MOMO or something. The engine hasnt been touched but it has been cleaned very well. Judging by the holes in the parcel shelf he had some 6x9's in the back which he decided he wanted to keep. There are some speaker pods on the doors, the kind you buy prefab for a VR/VS or something like that. I plan on making the stereo the first investment for this beast. It only has a cheap looking Sony head unit which will be replaced by a Alpine/Clarion/Fusion system. The plan is to put in some JayCar Amps, a decent sub in the boot, some 6x9's in the parcel shelf and some nice 6" speakers in the door pods. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
