will this injector fit in the standed fuel rail???
no they won't, as they are a 14mm o ring type injector. however they also sell the fuel rail conversion kits to suit.
i have dealt with these guys and their prices are fantastic and their service is second to none. i'd recommend them to anyone looking for a fuel system upgrade.
With the VLT, the only upgrade we do is with the fuel rail upgrade kit and changing to 14mm o-ring injectors. This also makes it easier to upgrade (all the way up to 1600cc) if that's where you want to go.
hi mate, could you please explain to me the difference of high and low impedance injectors.
cheers!
/im currently looking at ones to go in one of your fuel rails, but vl turbo ones are low impedance, does that mean i have to get low impedance injectors?
//whats the max cc flow rate a stock vlt ecu can handle?

Hi there,
Impedance is another word for resistance so low impedance injectors normally has a resistance of around 3 ohms and a high impedance injector has a resistance around 15 ohms.
As a rule, high impedance injectors will work fine with a low resistance set up on your car but they don't work the other way around. Low resistance injectors do not go with a high resistance setup.
All injectors open and close very fast and the opening/closing time is measured in milli seconds. The operating difference is that low resistance injectors will stay open a fraction longer (peak and hold) than their high ohms mates. This makes lower impedance injectors better suited for high performance applications.
As far as the max cc flow rate on the stock VLT ec, I don't know. You may be better off asking a tuner or someone who has tried it out on a dyno.
I hope this helps,
Simon
geez the cas are cheep cant even get them that cheap trade price, what brand are they?
also with the bosch 1600cc is it posible to get them to idle prefect on a vlt on cusom computer..?
Hey blue_vl_t here are some pics of the VLT fuel rail that comes with the conversion kit (see attachment). They also come with full instructions and are very easy to install.
The 750cc and 870cc are both SIEMENS injectors and you would have to ask someone who is good at tuning the cars about the 1600cc at idle.

Yes, you get an '8' fitting on the inlet side and a 3/8 barb fitting on the return side. They come with the kit.
hey, just wondering if using a high output fuel pump, does it use more fuel or just supplies more fuel to the reg.
would it be better to go with a 910 pump or just the equivalent of the vlt one.
are the malpassi regs that are for setups up to 15psi, the 1:1 ratios thanks
Simon is great to deal with and very helpful
ive bought some 870cc siemans injectors thru him and im about to buy his 2J conversion fuel rail
cant go wrong
cheers
