Don Audio is one of the best in the world.
Over here they cost over $1200 AU for a 12 inch woofer.

How can you say what the best sub in the world is? It depends what you want it for, mid range bass subs compared to low and high are completley different. Size matters too. I have a 15" and it's way too big for what i use it for. Just because something costs $2000 doesnt mean its the best. I could charge $2000 for sex with me does that make it the best?
Well, yes!
But with regards to best sub woofers i think cost does come into the factor. I would look at the FUSION series (FPW 1200) or the Alpine type R SWR1220. The Fusion sub comes in at $299 and the Alpine at $399. Thats alot of dollars below $2000 that can go into the engine!

Have you actually heared of them?
Anyway i didn't say they are the best but certainly one of the best.
I very much doubt you have heared these on a car my friend. They would not be seen in a VL, LOL
Anyway there are a lot of good brands out there.

lol.. best subs in the world would be from brands you've never heard of, same with any audio gear... sorry but the mainstream brands product average stuff at best, except alpine F1 status...
JL W7 is meant to be one of the best sounding.. there is no BEST tho.

Wow! It's great to see another sane person here.
The Jackhammer is a piece of junk. 130dB is nothing to be proud of and needing 6kwrms to get there is even worse.
As for the best sub in the world, there is no such woofer, however, if I could pick any woofer, it would be the Digital Designs Z15.
If you have to ask the specs for it you shouldn't be buying one.
and to run it, atleast four of these...
Digital Designs Z1, 5500wrms.
