There are two types i 'think' XSPOWER and MASTERPOWER. I think one of them is o.k. But why risk your motor? Garrett turbo's are very reliable and have come down in price over the last couple of years, Very affordable. Basically if the compressor wheel falls apart your going to hurt more than just your turbo. Yes i have seen one of these similar turbo's make big power and last literally 30 minutes on the road before blowing up!

16-11-05, 13:59 GMT+10#16 ok guys
XSPOWER and MASTERPOWER ARE NOTHING ALIKE !!!
Masterpower are very popular in America and make some good thrust bearing turbo's. They are manufactured in Brazil.
According to this site my T70 is rated at 800hp.

And here is their hompage
http://www.masterpower.com.br/eng_frameset.htm
XSpower are cheap crap made somewhere mysterious. I can't find a thing on them anywhere, I would never buy one. I've only ever heard bad things about them.
I have never seen a bad word said about the Masterpower turbos and they are making some big power on over seas cars. My car is making 300rwkw with a standard head on 20psi and the turbo hasn't missed a beat yet.

16-11-05, 14:07 GMT+10#18 Also they are not the same sizes at all.
A Super T70 is nothing like the Geniune T70.
Mine has a .70AR comp, .70 rear housing and a 70mm comp wheel.
I'm sure that a Super T70 has a .70AR comp, .84 rear and a 60.4mm comp wheel. Differant trim wheels aswell.
