UPDATE: New turbo be ready this week ECU purchased New cooler arrived Looks lik gerabox is gettin sent to keas to be checked and convertor made then shipped up Then its head down, ar5e up getting it all wired up and new manifold made up ect all ready to go PARTS LIST AS FOLLOWS: STD 2J with cam gears Mr turbo 76mm roller 600x300x100mm cooler ltx12 ecu and possibly MSD DIS-4 870cc injectors 2x044 fuel pumps sx -10 fuel reg holley blue feeder pump au twin thermos artcarr built c4 rated at 1000hp (getting checked) 3" exhaust, 1 cat and 1 muffler 6 point weldin rollcage hoping for completion in just over a months time, have to wait for roll cage to arrive then get it welded in and all mod plated ect cheers Troy

not sure what blew as havent pulled the motor down yet blew a sh1t load of smoke out the exhaust n the breathers so i cracked the sh1ts n put everythin up for sale in a way im glad it happened cause im doin this project now

it was goin to b a 2J but the motor has fallen thru already bought the auto, ecu and loom for the 2J so pretty pissed off bout that not sure what ill put in it now prob just a 25/30 but just std NA bottomend not spendin much money this time

ive got a turbo bottomend here dont know whats wrong with it yet until we pull it down but ill prob get it rebuilt n sell it with the head

project still happening but it wont be happening to a vl over the next couple weeks my calais will be up for sale wit a std 5spd NA motor in it air con, power steering, everythin aswell wit VLT booster and master, VLT front brakes, 28spline spool diff, panhard rod, cd player, sub, 2 amps, couple guages ect what sort of money would a 5spd calais go for? id also swap it for a Cressida Grande in good condition

well new project is in full swing will be ready hopefully end of january cant wait to get it runnin n c what it does just waiting on parts now then will be already to wire up will be organising a willow meet as soon as its done so i can c what it does and no im net tellin what ive done and no its not a vl people can bag me or whateva they want but im pretty sure it will impress ALOT of people!! every1 that has seen it so far thinks its pretty damn good i know ive said alot of things that i was goin to do wit the vl then ended up selling it b4 i ran a number ect but hopefully u will all lik this car so as we get a bit thru january ill start organising a meet at willow for EVERYONE to come 2 imports, vls, v8s anything Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
