hi, duz10s, no the engine was built by a local engine builder moe engines. i have all receipts it was built to make big power so everything was done right, they currently have drag cars running 8 and 9 secs as well as australian jet boat champion engines, go to their website: www.moeengines.com.au (http://www.moeengines.com.au) and u will c they know there stuff. i am sending pics so they can be hosted should be up soon. rajab did the turbo exhuast manifold plenum wastegate cooler piping tailshaft etc. its there to get the motec but unfortunately the ex wants half and i dont have that kind of money!!!!

if anyone is interested it can be seen at rajabs workshop, allan will be able to tell u about it. i cant believe im selling it if i had a kid id sell it first!!!!

red rb30 jet: i took it to bairnsdale to kill it as i was rebuilting her with a fresh block it had broken rings was running 8 psi boost cos anymore and it pinged like **** and it ran an 8.84 which is about 13.5 over 1/4 which is not bad for 8psi and no slicks, it died 3 days after the bairnsdale meet and has had countless dollars poured into since then, powerglide, all new suspension, rajab plenum exhaust manifold gt35/40 bigger cooler new engine which i spent over $9000 on alone (with receipts) interior retrim the whole autometer catalogue rebuilt diff fuel system etc. etc. so it resembles the old SICKVL in colour only, it was built to run 9 secs over 1/4. With the motec and a tune we were shooting for 450-500hp at the wheels, then when i got used to driving it was gonna put some carrillo's in a to4z and shoot for 700hp + but cant realise my dream cos my credit is maxed out with a house and all the **** that goes with that, the break-up and the sheer amount of cash i have spent on the car while i was with my ex means the money i need to get her running needs to be given to the ex. Such is life its f@%cked but whatta u do?

It is not running hasn't even been started needs motec (or microtec or 1 of the other ****ty engine management computer's out there) everything else is done pretty much.

Droogs, I know mate its f@%cked its so close to being finished i can smell the burn-out smoke but i cant get a loan to finish it cos i already have a house loan car loan and personal loan so the bank said they wont touch me for six months. wow. I love that engine bay. in fact the whole car is phat except that bumper. Sorry to hear you have to give up your pride and joy. Life sucks sometimes. I'm sure you'll be back at in no time. Good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to someone who will pour as much heart and soul into it as you have.

Ive had a few people interested, all the comments make me wanna finish it and keep it im gonna buy a tatts ticket who knows 3rd division would solve all probs. Thanx for all the positive comments people i hope that if it does sell she is looked after. PS: make sure ur girl is the right one, if u have doubts boot her, no-one should have to sell their pride and joy, especially after a 2 year megadollar rebuild!!!!

"Sell" it to a good mate for $5K, give her half then buy it back later.

Droogy, give me a call when ya got a chance after 4 cos i cant hear my phone at work. If i cant work something out soon will sell car if someone has the money, $20,000 is a lot for an 87 model car that hasnt been started but to build to this level would cost double that and then some.
