WHY WOULD YOU CUT HOLES IN YOUR CAR??
Here is a brief run down.
We sell Hybrid kits, but they require 1 hole to be cut in the chassis (ILLEGAL), they require you to remove the air con and they require you to remove your air box (pod filter and intercooler in many states is ILLEGAL). BUT there is not really any other cheap option.... Or is there???
We have developed a kit from scratch to your specifications. The front mount intercooler measures 600*230*76mm's and uses Trust style end tanks. The end tanks are polished aswell as the piping, the piping is also mandrel bent aluminium and has minimal visable weld marks. The pipe work is all 2.5" and is designed to support 300+ rwkw's. The kits allow you to keep aircon, keep your stock airbox, and there is no need for any holes to be cut in your car.
GK Technologies is run from a storage unit and from the internet. We deal direct with the factories in Asia and also deal direct with the customers (you guys) to help keep the prices down. This kit will retail for $649 but will be available for calaisturbo.com members for $599 (read further down for the special deal that's coming soon).
THE STUFF YOU WANT TO KNOW
The sample kit was received today (13/6) and fits GREAT!!
The pre-buy will commence tomorrow (14/6) and will be at $499 for the first 20 kits.
And pictures of the long awaited kit:
FRESH PICTURES!!
NOTE:
---- The retail kit won't have brackets on it as they're not needed, and will come with black silicone hose (as requested by you guys)
---- The retail kit will also be bead rolled on the edges of all the piping to ensure no pipes pop off under high boost levels.
---- Also note that the top pipe which goes to the throttle body (the main pipe that is visible) has NO [ZERO] visable weld marks.

----- NEWS JUST IN -----
There will be 20 pre-buy kits available for $499
After the pre-buy the price will be $599 for calaisturbo members and $649 retail.
Fitment has been confirmed and the kits fit great!! The pre buy will commence tomorrow - Wednesday, 14/6.
The Hybrid copy coolers measure 600x 300x 76mm. They are the same as other traders on here selling for $220+ (which some of them actually get the coolers from us)
Hotpipe is pipe that comes off the turbo. It is 2.5" and goes down to 2". The throttle body pipe is 2.75".
These kits have been designed with performance in mind. They have not been designed to give you the biggest "dose' or avoid cutting holes but designed for PERFORMANCE...
NOTE: Only 1 hole has to be cut into the chasis and is hidden anyway!!!
Here are the installation guides:

Glad to hear you guys like them.
I am no professional so I did not design them personally. These are genuine Hybrid kits that retail at $1100!
$160 is almost cost price for the intercoolers. We have far too many sitting here waiting for a new home.
If there's anything I can help you guys with or you want specific pictures of the kits please feel free to contact me.

what are the new prices for a HDi core, a genuine hybrid core and both of them with 100mm as opposed to 76mm cores?

Hi mate, I'm not out to make hundreds off each cooler as some people are, we just want to move stock and at the same time offer deals to the guys that support us (eg. clubs).
The HDi coolers are the same price at the moment ($280 for bar and plate and $355 for Tube and fin)
I can't get the HDi's in 100mm but I'll get a price tomorrow for the Hybrid styles.
Unless you are after 500hp+ then I don't think anything bigger than 76mm will be necessary. None the less I'll get the price and get back to you hopefully tomorrow.
If there's anything more that I can help you with please feel free to contact me.

if you can get me a price on the 100mm hybrid style ones then that would be great. if they're up around the price of the HDi 76mm core then i'll probably get one of those in preference. thanks for your help!
Hi mate, just to answer your questions.
Where else is the hot pipe going to go from the turbo? The turbo it located on the exhaust manifold so therefore it has to run near by, the heat of the exhaust manifold cannot be prevented on any kit. What makes you think this is going to be laggy? Unlike many of the other kits on the market with hundreds of weld marks and multiple unnecessary bends this kit is straight to the point. It goes exactly where it needs to go with the least amount of bends possible. It has not been designed for a large "dose" or to avoid making holes in the chasis, but designed purely for performance. What is this convential style kit you talk of, what is a conventional kit? These kits are made by Hybrid. These are genuine Hybrid kits with a RRP of $1100, this has not been designed by myself or any backyard mechanic.
If you can take a pen and a piece of paper to this "well known workshop" and get them to show Hybrid how to make a kit then I'm sure this will help us all. I cannot see a better way to position the piping with performance in mind.
Fitting is available for $200, we are located in Werribee (Western suburbs).
If there's anything more I can help you with then please let me know.
To all the guys that have ordered I'm sure you will be 100% happy with the kits.
The finish is 10x better than any VL kit I have seen, and at this price they wont last long!!

I am mainly concerned about the turbo "hot" pipe that go's from the turbo across the exhaust manifold and around the cam cover down to below where the battery sits then through to the cooler. Wouldnt this sort of setup be laggy? Isnt the turbo meant to fill the intercooler as fast as possible then go through to the TB? From the pictures of this kit it seems to me that the turbo would have to work alot harder to fill up the cooler then in conventional style kits.
Also Im a bit worried about the hot pipe also passing so close to the exhaust manifold. Wouldnt this heat up the air alot more then conventional setups hence the cooling effect would be reduced compared to other kits on the market?? I was interested in your kit as it is well priced, but I am after performance, so I printed out a copy of the user guide and took it to a well known performance workshop who pointed out these things to me. So before I decide weather or not to purchase this kit from you could you help me out with these questions? Also can this kit be supplied on a no holes basis and can you also fit the kit up for me. If you do do fitting how much. Also I am after a 100mm genuine hdi cooler. Do you have? and if so how much delivered.
Thanks
anthony

Hi mate, sorry about the late reply.
At this stage I can't get them. I will keep on trying and see what I can come up with. The price should be under $250 if I can organise a shipment.
