Hi people, I searched, but I couldn't find anyone with a similar setup to mine, so I will have to ask some basic questions sorry! (will be thankful for the help). Firstly. I have two amps, and they can't be piggybacked onto each other. I am using the RCA Outs for one amp (the head unit has one RCA out) and converting my back speaker wires into RCA's (using a converter) for the other amp. My question is, with the REM wire from the head unit? There is only one, should I need to have them going to both amps???, or can I run it to one amp, and run a wire from that amp, to the 2nd??? What does it do?! Should I try and splice the wire before they reach the amps??? (hope this is making sense). The 2nd question is about "Speaker Level Inputs". I looked at the instructions on this amp (it's a stereo amp, so it has two speaker inputs and two speaker outputs, each with a negative and positive) and it doesn't say anything on speaker level inputs. What I'm thinking, is instead of converting those back speaker wires to RCA's, I could run them straight into the speaker level inputs on the amp....then run wires from the speaker level outputs on the amp to my speakers????? Does that make any sense???? Anyway, cheers for any help on this, I really need it!

just run a wire from the rem on one amp to the rem on another amp and then to ur head unit, when ur head unit switches on ur amp also switches on, other wise ur amps are always on and the last quewstion makes no sense, but with ur rca's get splitters for them u can buy em from JBHIFI etc and then plug it all up, all it means it that ur headunit contrls to amps instead of one on the same rca's meaning a change to the head unit settings will affect both amps

Cheers mate, for the help with that first quesetion. And I've already split the RCA's from the head unit into four (for the 4 channel amp) so I lost fader etc. Can I risk splitting it again??? for the 2nd amp??? cos the second one controls the speakers and the first controls the subs.

Yes you can split them again... Its only a signal the RCA's give. Run you remote wire (blue - REM) to one amp as normal and then run another from the first amp to the 2nd. With your speakers, you have a 2 or 4 channel amp for these? Your running 2 speakers off it? If its 2 channel, run one channel for each speaker or if its 4 channels run them bridged off two channels (for 2 speakers) or one channel each speaker (for 4 speakers). Then make sure the filter is on HPF (High Pass Filter), turn your frequency up a lil over half and just play around with your gain levels till it sounds nice...

you would only need one set for the 4 channel so why you got 4? and you dont need the fader asa amps give you more play with adjustments
