Unless it's a fake HSV ie just a body kit and interior fitted to a BT1 pack. Does your speedo go up in increments of 2 or 5 mate ?

It looks like you have the pursuit vehicle. Those cars wre modified for police work (standard engines though). They also had an HSV compliance plate. You can go on HSV's website and ask them a question on their Q&A page. They will send you an email back with the answer.

Are you sure about HSV modifying cars for police as I've never heard of this in any state?

HSV carried out mods to these cars for Holden that the Police required specially for them. Things like FE2 suspension, engine sump guard and long range fuel tank with guard, beefed up transmission, recalibrated speedo, calais interior light, berlina drivers seat (cars were executive based) etc. List goes on. If you have the book "HSV 1988-1991 A complete Guide to HSV" this will tell you more about them starting at page 33.

Amazing considering Holden did all this themselves on VLs and many other models: the GMH BT1 and 9C1 pack So on which series did HSV do this for Holden? BTW: To me this 'Senator' is clearly a fake

From VN. If you don't believe what I write, read the HSV book. Like I said, page 33 on. HSV would have taken away pressure from Holden's assembly line. Just like Holden By Design do today.
