dependant on the type of cd player you have, will determine whether or not it has the ability to control an electric aerial... if your cd player has an aerial trigger wire then you just connect your aerial to this and it will work...

U need to connect ur remote wire to the power antenna or ur power antenna wire to it (depends on your brand of headunit) if u only have a remote wire and ur running amps with it, i'd suggest a relay off the remotewire for the amps and the aerial just to reduce load on the headunit. It also depends on the headunit to if the antenna goes up when the cd is playing, some only put the antenna up when the radio is on (like most jvc units), but others put the antenna up as soon as the headunit is turned on due to remote wire power. With the wiring to the plug, i got no idea coz my auto antenna was taken out of my car b4 i owned it, and i've never delved into the wiring of it... ush

If your car didn't have a power antenna before you will need to get one of those little black boxes...
