OK VL heads, we've got a VL Turbo in a major release film. It had a brand new paint job, 18s, black interior, & did a pretty decent burnout
Film release date is after August when it's shown at the Melbourne International Film Festival

Thanks to Paul Sera GAS-747 and all the other people who gave me advice in the hectic week or so that I had to find a car. Same to others who offered their cars up as background and dressing vehicles.
Most thanks to Allan Safar and family from Saf's Sport and Prestige - let us buy his project car in the middle of the build and paint it our colour - Steve did a great job in such a short space of time.
As a member of this forum - it's mandatory that you go to the movie and buy the DVD. I had a tight budget for the vehicles and managed to squeeze as much performance in as possible. If it's commercially successful, that's good for all of us.
And keep an eye out for my Turquoise/Silver VLT cruising the streets.
Thanks, Matt Worth

There's some more info on the below link or watch The Movie Show on SBS this Sunday or in the next week or two. Also I did an interview with Showtime and spoke about all the cars. Film release date is sometime next year.

On the last day of filming yesterday in Newie at the top of Merewether beach - we squeezed in a photo shoot of some of the cars. Tony Mott who some of you may know as a legendary rock photographer kindly took pics (go buy his book). He's just come off Avril Lavigne's tour and is about to go hang with Norah Jones in NYC. I'll display some of the car pics on actionvehicles.net
Many thanks to Paul Sera GAS-747 and all the other really helpful people who gave me advice in the hectic week or so that I had to find a car. Thanks to others who offered their cars up as background and dressing vehicles. No thanks to a minority who payed me out and shall remain nameless - we all can work out who they were. Thou shall be banned from going to the cinema or buying the DVD.
Most thanks to Allan Safar who operates Saf's Sport and Prestige - he let us buy his project car in the middle of the build and paint it our colour - Steve did a great job in such a short space of time.
Keep an eye out for the Turquoise on Silver AUB-73G with VYSS rims, I'll be cruising 'round Newie for a little while yet, and then will possibly put my ACT plate SATURDY on the car. Don't think any of the other days really suit it - maybe SUNDAY but we'll see.
And finally - if you are a member of this forum then it is mandatory that you go to the movie and buy the DVD. I had virtually NO budget for the cars and managed to squeeze as much performance in as I could. If this movie does OK then we might - just might have an opportunity to make a proper car flick - without the bull**** that the US big budget films incorporate. Although I am the first to admit that it is fun when you have a budget as big as Warner Brothers gave us on Superman Returns for the Mustangs.
Thanks

03-10-05, 08:53 GMT+10#10 I saw them filming in cardiff a few days ago, there was a nice light blue over silver vl with a turbo badge and an awesome yellow charger.
We saw the scene with the prostitute looking hot girl talking to a hot but dressed down girl out the front of a shop, as we came to watch we didnt realise it was "Suburban Mayhem" and we thought we had stumbled onto the site of a porn film, needless to say we were abit dissapointed to find out it wasn't porn.
