Hey Guys, My name is Toni and i have purchesed this Original 1988 VLT Bt1. When the car was bought the turbo wasnt on there cause the lady that owned it before said that it blew up on her. So i bought the car anyway, the turbo itself was in pieces but i bought it anyway. I gotta it pretty cheap but, $3900for a BT1 is very cheap. This is what the car looked like when i bought it: [/IMG] Well so far i have reconditioned the turbo to a T3/T4 hi-flow so yeah but the fan is slightly bigger then a normal hi-flow. i have also installed a Stage 2 intercooler in it. The motor itself has done only 180,000 original kms, due to the lady being in her 60's.This is what the motor looked like without the turbo and then after with it: Well another thing that has made my car better in all ways is the cooler i added. The piping was made at Per4manz Turbos in Welshpool, the piping was done in aluminium so lighter and better flow as i have heard. The Airflow meter was mounted in the cooler pipes. Here is a few pictures: There is still more to come at the current moment it is running 11 psi and its going good. The new things are going to be added are a spray job, the car is getting sprayed now (Canary Yellow) and also i will be getting jatco Gearbox which is on order at the moment. The gears are going to be changed from the 3:45's to 3:9's and also for abit of excitement a spool. And maybe more but thats all so far i will post some new pictures when i get the car back thanks guys later. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
