Anyone got any ideas on what one is worth? Im looking at about a 2800rpm stall. Good brands to go for, ones to avoid? Cheers

For the Jatco, im just not 100% sure if I wanna go for a 4 speed or a 3speed. I also got prices from paul on gearboxs, the converter prices were at the bottom of the email...lol TCE brand is the brand that he is selling.

Dominator have a problem with their stall and flash stall speeds. they are rarely ever what they are rated at. Don't get me wrong, Dominator are a good brand else i would not of bought one, but if i had the choice between the two again i would choose a TCE. Tight converters, tried and tested in many street and dedicated drag cars. my 2c

dominators are supporting cars with over 1300 horses around here and every one swears by them

have a look at what the big cars run. TCE 8inch converters. TCE are the premium world-wide brand. what 1300 horsepower cars are they behind? i dont doubt you, i was just wondering Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

my mate this my mate that. any converter can **** itself. its just a matter of having the right one to suit your setup. you can argue to wich brand is the best just shop around or ask an engine builder. dominator and tce are the way to go but give Rocket a call and ask what the B&M converters a worth.
