After missing out on the group buy of the Lokka diff centres, I've kinda been hangin around waiting for feedback from people who bought one. Im running an R31 with a 25det and minispool, its getting hard to live with and yellow lickies are becoming a problem, I'm seriously thinking of getting a diff locker as it seems to be the only solution, we all know how shocking the Borgie LSD's are.... So from those who have fitted and driven these centres, what do ya reckon? Ive heard rumours of them breaking, rumours of them being fine, rumours of loud clunking etc but no-one actually seems to just have straightforward first hand experience..... Steve

I'm interested in what you people are thinking about them. I need to get my LSD rebuilt with extra force on the clutch cones or else a mini spool or lokka arrangement.

Has anyone installed their Lokka's yet? Im interested to see how they perform and whether you guys installed them yourselves. Ive been quoted some very expensive prices for putting these in, it makes no sense seeing as its pretty much the same as putting a spool in. Cheers, BradM.

Another reason is the breaking axles issue, i havn had the problem yet but my best mate has a VS ute with an RB25DET and spool, he breaks an axle a month, and im sick to hell of completely dissasembling his centre to get the broken bits out Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Put mine in today fella's with the assistance of vlctwagon. All i can say is traction..traction....traction.................... ..sideways. Very happy with the product so far, occasional metalic clicking on turns but not greatly noticable. Great alternative to a spool for all you guys wanting one without the excessive tyre wear and stress on suspension components. Cheers, BradM.

Very happy with the unit. I fitted the unit to my 28 spline 4 pinion R31. Very predictable, no tyre skipping round corners. Can easily install one in a morning with the right tools, paying attention to the clearnece gap. BradM.

No worries mate, trust me when i say you'll never go back to a single spiner diff ever again. Its all about traction. BradM. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Im waiting for the next batch of lokka centres to be made with new gears rather than using original VL gears. These should be available in a few months. Has anyone else fitted one lately? Any complaints?

They told me that the old design uses original VL splined side gears which have been known to crack so they are working on new side gears to be included in the next batch.
