Well guys i finally got bored enough to right up a description of my car Basically i bought this marinello red calais about 3 months ago and it is my second vl. I bought it off an elderly couple who were getting rid of it due to inheriting a VS with payments still owing on it. it has done a genuine 150,000 kms COMPLETELY stock. this thing was so stock that it still had an original fuel filter! (it was pretty filthy inside lol) But yeh since i have owned it i have kept it looking clean and nice. i have fitted a 2.5 inch cat back lukey system with a gutted cat (shh dont tell anyone) I am a big fan of straight cars with nice paintjobs and nice quality rims so i am getting some zinetti deep dish chromies: http://www.tempetyres.com.au/product...t=&part_no=290 (http://www.tempetyres.com.au/products_closeup.asp?part=&part_no=290) and will dorp it a couple of inches. that is all i am doing to the exterior. The interior on the other hand will be completely redone due to the fact that the old lady was a smoker and there are a couple of cigarrete burns on the seats, skins and even the roof that **** me to tears!. i will prob just get it redone in velour (i have loved velour ever since watching the futurama episode with Zapp Brannigan talking about his velour captains suit/skirt hahaha classic) The car inherits my sound system that has been passed down through 3 of my cars now (im getting good at putting it in) basically includes some loud 6x9's for the parcel shelf, dvd head unit, clarion 15' sub, clarion 2x200W amp. also has a 7"tv yet to be mounted though. i have just spent 10 hours installing a pager alarm with remote start and it also has an autowatch immobiliser. As for future plans, the calais will be copping a change of pace as i have bought another rb30 to begin my dual cam turbo build down in the shed. my goal is roughly 350 rwkw and should be fully built in a year - stay tuned for updates on this thanks for reading, enjoy the photos chris Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
