Hey just wanting an (around) price check on my car. '87 vl calais, done 91,000 genuine kms. Lowered on Low kingsprings and 18" Koya Inox3 rims, has a selca alarm worth $1000, $600 Alpine headunit and Pioneer 6x9s, Mint condition. Not thinking of selling just wanting to know what the price would be around?

market value would only be about $4k if youre lucky

also alarms and stereo add jack all to the price of selling a car.

I'd say 5k. Its got low kays, presumably in good nic, lowered, 18s, stereo. Deffinately worth 5k I reccon.

an immac vlc with low k;s is still worth 5-6 maybe 7 if ur lucky

$5,500 max on a private sale i'd say, and you'll have guys trying to bring you down to $4,500. maybe sell it without rims, alarm, headunit.....$4,000? theres a car exactly the same as your for sale on trademe for $5,000...its been relisted twice now.

6 months ago i sold a VL2 Calais, Red on Red, Custom Colour and very well painted in Acrylic Laquer. With Extractors and 2.25" Exhaust, but only on 15's, and i just managed to get $2000, Even though they are a great car, nobody wants them anymore because of high fuel prices, cheap imports, and age.

^your right noone wants them [in a way thats good], it would sell at $3,000 no problem with 96,000 km on it. but you could get the $4,500 as i said if the buyer wants the rims and stereo.
