i know i couldnt wait to start a thread on this....
finally got around to removing the engine and gearbox yesterday. was an easy task when the engine wasnt caught on the power steering line
once the engine was taken out i realised... there was no engine ... the bay has a fair bit of room, and i saw how badly i missed when i was painting the car
i took the fenders and nosecone off once the bay was pressure washed and degreased, reason... shaving antenna
door locks will be shaved and boot lock also
mod time...
the engine will be rebuilt by willy, a.k.a. vlsleeper
the box will be done by paul at KEAS consisting of a full manual valve body with a 3200 stally
turbo will be a T04e with 3" cooler piping and a custom 530x230x90mm front mount intercooler and then leading into a JDcustom inlet manifold, afm will be in the cooler piping
i will be running VLT injectors with a microfueller setup, any boost over 11psi will be helped by this microfueller
full 3" exhaust with high flow cat and high flow muffler
i think i covered everything
one quick question though, should i run the turbo off a top mount or low mount manifold?
thanks for reading
