is that only in NSW cos they do storys like that up here in QLD sometimes to, when they go to Harry's Diner on a friday night and reckon everyone there is a "hoon", i'm with u mate, it's crap the way we get labelled just cos of our car, alot of us actually do drive our car responsibly and take great pride in it!!

lol guys these shows arent at all interested in the truth! they want a controversial story to get ratings and nothing more. i've seen cases where a story has been written based on false evidence, even when the truth has been provided to them. they won't use the truth if its not as interesting as the story they found on a website or whatever. this specific example wasnt ACA but i dont know that they'd be much better... dont let that stop you but unless they get thousands of letters i doubt they'll even flinch Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

its a pity because they will be happy to see that the show was successful in portraying all us as hoons. But would like to see the response. If you want to make em really notice you should stick a bung cracker up their asses instead.

I know a heap of people that have highly modified cars and they drive sensibly. Im so sick & tired of hearing ACA portray something we love and do for a hobby...The Police are a big contribution. Police go out on the news and say that us P-Platers are menaces to the public when its the ***ing police who harrass us and purposely try to get on our backs so they will get a reaction and then will take action against us....these are the little games they play to *** us over....for example; Undercover Cops pulling up at the lights in a black XR6 turbo asking to drag people...and if ppl say no the cops harass them and say cmon lets drag..till the person gives in and gets caught. Well, have you ever thought of vehicles that are old and unroadworthy and driven by people who are past the age of having driving ability? Or, how the law uses unmarked vehicles on the street to temp drivers with apparent modified vehicles to drag on public roads? Which pose bigger risks? I suppose that those stories would not attract much viewing so you would rather put something a little more saucy and have people with modified cars labelled as "hoons". Now you may be thinking this email comes from some disgruntled young P plater but that is not the case. My sentiments will also be sounded by many in the car scence in VIC and possibly other states. You haven't given any evidence/facts to support this. How do you know they haven't given a chance to 'car scene' members to tell their side of the story? Also in stead of threatening them in a friendly way for them to give you a chance to tell your side of the story, try asking them politely for you to have a chance of your side of the story. I'm not saying that they haven't given a one sided report, but my point is, if you're going to send an e-mail to experienced journalists, you should set it out more carefully, with facts and evidence.
