22-08-05, 15:17 GMT+10#12 the fastest street car is owned by a guy i know...robert campisi,he owns the ford cortina twin turbo v8 stroker, its runs 7.8's though it still has the rego sticker and is classed as the fastest streeter i highly doubt it will ever see the nsw rods, though if anyones ever heard of the thirlmere fryers car club a well known ford capri called MINCER is ready to hit the track again, this car is looking to run low in the 7s quite easily and is also street registered and he drives it to the pub, parachute wheelie bars and all...lol...not joke.....good day.

22-08-05, 15:37 GMT+10#13 You have got to be joking omy-11z are you going to sit there and tell me those too cars you mentiond are 100% street legal full trim not tubbed epa aproved and fully street driven and by that i mean not just driven to a car show or the drags then garaged for the next 12month if you can say that well then you have a point .
And just because a car have rego doesn't make it street LEGAL.

22-08-05, 15:39 GMT+10#14 And when i said fastest street car in aust i should have said full trim epa aproved full engineers cert , if some one can tell me a car that has all that and runs faster i'll be impressed.

That "Mincer" Ford Capri wouldn't be bright green would it? I think I saw it at Easternats one year.. extremely tough engine..
I dont know one car, that is EPA approved.. and engineered.. and registered..thats quicker than standard unless your talking some 1970 comerical vehicle..

havacry,i see your point..so does pannic fit in that category?
theres a torana that runs 8.3 with the help of nos its a bb chev and driven on the nsw roads, though i dont know what it runs off the bottle.

pannic would not pass an EPA emission test.
cgmfly would because the engine is in a torana making it exempt from most of the adr's with the age of the vehicle.
