Well well lets try and have another crack at putting up a thread about my car. I only hope this time it doesnt get locked.... not that im worried but feel as though I should keep the CT boys and girls up to date. So start talking **** and I will ask the mods to remove it myself.
Car has been purchased. Harlaquin Cyan to purple in colour.
There has been a slight change of plan with the engine setup. Luckily, should result with a few more horses
The combo now consits of;
Custom billet crank
JUN oil pump
Carrillo rods
ROSS pistons
JUN valve springs
JUN valve guides
JUN titanium retainers
JUN cams 280 degrees, 11.35 lift
Ferrera Stainless 1mm oversize valves
TOMEI cam gears.
Motec M800 ECU
MOTEC CDI-8 ignition with mercury coils.
T51R SPL B/B turbo
JUN plenum with 90mm infinty T/B
SARD 1000cc injectors
SARD Fuel rail
Cusom Exhaust manifold.
PWR radiator and cooler.
The block has be Cyrogenically treated (spelling?) - a frezzing process. Dakta sleeves, bored 20 thou oversize, line honed crank tunnel etc etc.
Head has had major porting on both inlet and exhaust.
A powerglide has been assigned to the task. 6500RPM stally, transbrake, custom billet gear set.
Should be capable of a ridiculous amount of power but depends on how good it is tuned. Only time will tell.
Please do not allow this to turn into another ****fight thread. So if you have nothing to say just shut your mouth and move along. Dont ruin it for all the other members that might have a particular interest in viewing the build up of one of Australias fastest calais.
Pics will be up when I am ready. If your not happy just shut up and say nothing. For the time being i guess you will have to believe me... and if you dont great but dont say anything and ruin this thread.

Car was initially going to be ready for the summernats but now I highly doubt it. the plenum alone takes 2 months to make the crank 3months and in this industry there are always delays.
I am still aiming for summernats but wont be disappointed if I cant make it. Will be ready early ealy next year then
As for pics, when I am ready Ill post. Not interested in people have to say. If they think I am lying bad luck

15-08-05, 11:57 GMT+10#12 Well I have everything bar the transmission, crank, plenum and carrillo rods. So yeah.... deposit has been left for most of the abovementioned parts just waiting for them to be finished.
The waiting game... it kills
