CAR SCENE CHRISTMAS CHARITY CRUISE Date:- Sunday the 11th of December 2005 Venue:- BWCP Cruise Location meeting points:- TBA (Will be one North Brisbane, South Brisbane, West Brisbane and Gold Coast) Cruise Leaders:- Will be mixed with cruise leaders from CB, Boostcruising, Chic Torque and QSC. ALL FORUMS ARE BEING REPRESENTED AND THE REASON IS SO EVERYONE GETS ALONG! Start Time:- Event will kick off at the BWCP at 10am sharp Finish Time:- 3pm What to bring:- Hat, sunscreen, money, good sense of humor and a smile Charity:- TBA (Still being worked out) General information:- This year there will be some changes to last years Boostcruising Christmas Charity Cruise. Mcleod was kind enough to let this be an official BC event last year and this year we thoguth we would bring all car forums together to get along and stop some of this silly in house fighting too. After much discussion we are having it once again on a Sunday. Reason being is that storms are likely in the afternoon, and people work on Saturdays. I actually wanted it on a Saturday afternoon/night simply due to the cooler weather for all. This year there will be displays from local automotive businesses, i.e. performance workshops, auto trimmers, wheels shops etc. An official invite will also be sent to the Q.L.D. Police Traffic Branch to set-up a stand as well, plus the Q.L.D. Department of Transport, Q.L.D. Ambulance, Q.L.D. Fire Brigade, Q.L.D. SES, WESTPAC Rescue Helicopter and the GCCC and a few other organisations. These organisations and businesses will be there to simply help people and show what they have on offer to the car scene. Price is $300 per stand and it goes to charity PLEASE REMEMBER THERE WILL BE A LARGE NUMBER OF MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, MEDIA AND SPECIAL GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE. ANYONE CAUGHT CONSUMING ALCOHOL IN THE CAR PARK WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE! ANYONE CAUGHT DRIVING IN A MANNER DANGEROUS ON THE CRUISE AND/OR IN THE BWCP WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT AND HANDED TO POLICE FOR PROSECUTION. NO EXCEPTIONS OR EXCUSES!
