Yo,
Im currently striipped my whole car for a respray.. and its very fugly atm..
anyway im wonderin what techinques you use to get the top and lower moulds on your cars without damaging parts..
my way was t use foam whilst strapping masking tape around somthign that will hold the part on.. but it wouldnt be too firm..
like any ideas of leaning somthing up against it to make sure it sticks?
im using salastic or some stronger ****..
thanks if anyone helps me

Use Sikaflex on the moulds(its the strongest sh!t you will find), then just use making tape to hold them on while the sikaflex dries. Thats how I did mine and thats how they usually do it in panel shops.
Whatever you do, dont use solastic as it absorbs water.

im trying to avoid using masking tape due to it stuffing up a mates paint as he left it on there for a while and just peeled off his paint
But yeah i will probably use the masking tap method for the job anywayas in just wrap it around the moulds...
ill just wait a couple fo days to be certain that the 2k paint dries
P.S IS Urethane alright ot use as this is what i currently used
if i use double sided tap. somone on here will rip the lower door moulds off haha

Just do it exactly as vlt-dreamer said to do it. You wont have any probs. Sikaflex is urethane,so yeah urethane is ok to use.
